On Tuesday, the Beijing health authorities said that the city recorded one positive result for the COVID-19 nucleic acid test on Monday.
The case was detected in Fengtai District, and the infected person came from northwest China's Gansu Province. Local authorities are conducting epidemiologic investigations and have taken control and prevention measures.
