The station is located in the China New International Exhibition Center in order to prevent and control the novel coronavirus disease from abroad.

After airport quarantine, passengers with no fever, cough and other symptoms would be sent to this station and then be transferred by relevant provinces or districts, said spokesperson Pang Xinghuo, the deputy director of Beijing Center for Disease Prevention and Control, on March 12.

In order to ensure the station work, the following points need to be highlighted:

Focusing on the partition management

According to the different destinations, the overseas arrivals are divided into Beijing area and other provinces areas. Each area should set up several temporary distribution centers. The relative distance between distribution centers shall be more than 5 meters. The pathways of working staff and passengers should be separated in order to avoid too much crowding.

Carrying out health monitoring work

Working teams in all districts of Beijing and all provinces and cities shall carry out health monitoring on all staff every morning and evening. People found to have fever, cough or other symptoms should go to the medical centers for further test at the first time.

Conducting temperature screening

Before leaving the airports and entering the transfer and distribution station, the entry personnel shall carry out health declaration and body temperature screening. People with symptoms should be sent to the temporary medical centers. Before getting on the transfer vehicles, it should make sure that all the transfer personnel have normal temperature and no abnormal health conditions.

Establishing temporary medical center

A resident medical station should be established which is responsible for the investigation and emergency treatment of people with abnormal health conditions such as fever and cough.

Arranging the residents

Three ambulances should be arranged in China New International Exhibition Center which are responsible for the people with symptoms of COVID-19. Two ambulances should be available in Shunyi district for the transfer of patients with cardiovascular diseases.

Requirements of area disinfection

- Objects in the area where passengers are detained should be disinfected once they leave

- Special-assigned people shall be responsible for the toilet

- Strengthening indoor ventilation
