International flights will be gradually resume in Beijing, the city announced on Saturday.
Beijing plans to end a ban and allow up to 4 or 5 direct international flights per day, carrying a total of about 1,000 passengers.
Beijing will also continue monitoring the global epidemic situation and the number of COVID-19 cases brought to China from outside the country in order to ensure the pandemic continues to be controlled and to provide safe airline service to all passengers.
