Belt and Road foreign reporters visit Beijing's new airport

Beijing Daxing International Airport is positioned to be a large international hub airport radiating out to the world.

The long-term planning for annual passenger throughput is targeted at more than 100 million people, the annual cargo and mail throughput is 4 million tons, and aircraft take-off and landing 880,000 sorties.

Sitting at the junction of Beijing's southern Daxing District and Langfang, a city in Hebei Province, the new airport is expected to be put into operation before September 30.
