Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said on Tuesday that he plans to visit Cambodian students in the Chinese city of Wuhan, the epicenter of an outbreak of a new coronavirus, as long as the plan is permitted by the Chinese side.

In a post on his Facebook page, Prime Minister Hun Sen said he had informed Chinese authorities of the trip and plans to fly to China on Wednesday from South Korea, where he is attending a summit.

The visit is to show the students warmth and to make sure they are not scared of the novel coronavirus, read in the post.

There is no official information from the Chinese side so far.
