Carrie Lam arrives in Beijing for duty visit

Chief Executive of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Carrie Lam has arrived in Beijing for a duty visit from Saturday to Tuesday.

During her stay in Beijing, Lam will report to state leaders on the latest economic, social and political situation in the Hong Kong SAR.

During Lam's absence, Chief Secretary for Administration Matthew Cheung will be the acting chief executive.
