Chengdu, the provincial capital of Southwest China's Sichuan Province, reported two new confirmed COVID-19 cases and two asymptomatic cases on Thursday, making a total of eight confirmed cases and three asymptomatic cases discovered this week in Chengdu.

A total of 1.02 million citizens have conducted nucleic acid testing in Chengdu so far, according to the Chengdu Health Commission.
