China appoints adviser to Committee for Safeguarding National Security of HKSAR

BEIJING, July 3 (Xinhua) -- China's State Council on Friday announced that Luo Huining was appointed as national security adviser to the Committee for Safeguarding National Security of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).

The decision was made in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the HKSAR.
