The Chinese envoy asked the United States to stop playing political games over Syria's humanitarian crisis.

He also refuted the accusations against China by the US delegate at the meeting. He emphasized that China has adopted a very constructive and responsible approach in finding solutions to provide more humanitarian assistance to Syria.

In addition, he urged the US to actively respond to the ceasefire call of the Secretary-General. China also asked the US to lift unilateral sanctions upon a number of countries immediately, and avoid bringing more innocent people's lives at risks.
