“China is able to run 1.5 million coronavirus tests a day,” Guo Yanhong, an official with the National Health Commission said on Saturday in a press conference. She added that with the reopening of businesses and schools, China will continue to boost its testing ability. “It will be achieved by constructing labs in the medical institutions above level two, improving biology security management and the training of medical staff.”

China health authority said it received a report of eight confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland on Friday.
