Guo Yanhong, an inspector at the National Health Commission's Hospital Authority, said on Wednesday that the COVID-19 nucleic acid testing capacity of China's medical institutions has increased 200 percent from 1.26 million a day in early March to 3.78 million a day at a press conference.

As of June 22, 90.41 million people had undergone COVID-19 tests from medical and health institutions in the country.
