China won't restrict the export of medical supplies and is willing to help other nations through the outbreak, reflecting its appreciation of their assistance to China in early days of fighting the COVID-19 epidemic, said a senior official from the Ministry of Commerce on Sunday.
"As Chinese proverb goes, 'receiving drips of water when in need, and I shall return the kindness with a spring.' China never forgets about what some countries had done to help us control the disease," said Jiang Fan at a press briefing held by the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council.
"China will reward the International communities with as much support as we can, as the world's situation gets worse," said Jiang.
