China Family Planning Association donates anti-epidemic supplies to five countries

BEIJING — The China Family Planning Association (CFPA) has donated anti-epidemic supplies worth nearly 2 million yuan (about $282,000) to five countries to help them fight the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The association has signed donation agreements with family planning associations and medical institutions of nine countries including Pakistan, Thailand, Japan, Egypt, Morocco and North Macedonia. Five of the nine countries have received donations including N95 respirators, disposable surgical masks, protective clothing and forehead thermometers, said the CFPA.

The CFPA's Standing Vice-President Wang Peian said the CFPA has played an active role in the prevention and control of COVID-19 by giving full play to its advantages of grassroots networks.
