BEIJING, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) -- A total of 25 institutions for digital archive storage were established this year, the National Archives Administration said Monday.

In 2019, the administration issued a guideline for the construction of mobile archival service platforms, and initiated the building of a national service platform for consulting and utilizing files, said Li Minghua, head of the administration, at a national conference for archival work.

No major cybersecurity incidents occurred in the archival work in 2019, showing that China's ability to ensure the security of archives was continuously improved, Li said.

The administration will continue to promote the digitalization of archives and the construction of the national archives service platform, which connects comprehensive archives at all levels, to facilitate online access to documents nationwide, he added. Enditem
