China has started to pilot the resumption of outbound tourism “in a safe and orderly manner,” foreign ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said at a routine press briefing in Beijing on Friday.

Competent authorities will guide tourism companies to organize and implement the plan, Wang said.

"Tourists are reminded to maintain self-health management and monitoring before travel and strictly comply with Chinese and local epidemic prevention requirements to ensure a healthy, happy and safe travel," he said.
