China releases new images, videos of Tianwen-1 Mars mission on first anniversary

A collection of remarkable moments from Tianwen-1, China's first Mars mission, was released by the Lunar Exploration and Space Engineering Center of China National Space Administration (CNSA) on Friday, reviewing the pioneering journey made by the Mars probe on the one-year anniversary of its launch.

Tianwen-1 was approved in January 2016 and the probe was launched on July 23, 2020, after which it carried out deep-space maneuvers and expedition on the red planet.
