BEIJING, June 6 (Xinhua) -- The air forces of China and Russia conducted a joint strategic patrol over the waters of the Sea of Japan and the East China Sea on Tuesday.

The two militaries staged the sixth joint aerial patrol in accordance with an annual military cooperation plan between China and Russia, according to a statement released by the Ministry of National Defense.
