The document, issued by the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, urged disciplinary inspection and supervision organs at all levels to scrupulously fulfill their duties.

Disciplinary inspectors should focus on combating bureaucratism and the practice of formalities for formalities' sake, and seriously investigate individuals engaging in hedonism and extravagance, the document reads.

Disciplinary inspectors are asked to pay close attention to potential problems and thoroughly analyze and publicize typical cases to prevent the resurgence of disciplinary violations, according to the document.

The document also calls on the public to report disciplinary violations via channels including a tip-off hotline and a website.
