The country's installed capacity of renewable energy power generation totaled 930 million kilowatts by the end of 2020, accounting for 42.4 percent of the country's total. Its installed capacity for wind power generation had led the world for 11 years.

The photos show Yangxiongshan wind farm in Shede Township, Southwest China’s Yunnan Province. Using the abundant local wind energy resources, this project has delivered electricity to thousands of households without harming the environment.
