BEIJING, March 27 (Xinhua) -- The Agricultural Development Bank of China (ADBC), an agricultural policy bank, has ramped up financial support to secure hog production and supply.

The ADBC planned to allocate over 10 billion yuan (about 1.42 billion U.S. dollars) in new loans for hog production sector this year, according to the ADBC.

The bank has been supporting the whole industrial chain from hog feed, breeding, slaughtering to cold chain transportation along with a batch of key enterprises to ensure the country's hog supply, the ADBC said.
