The scale of China's service import is expected to reach $2.5 trillion in the next five years, said the Ministry of Commerce at the 3rd China International Import Expo on Friday, according to the Shanghai Securities News.

The ministry released a report on China's Service Import on the second day of the 3rd CIIE. According to the report, the COVID-19 epidemic has had a temporary impact on the Chinese economy, but the fundamentals of the long-term positive development of the Chinese economy have not changed. The Chinese people's aspiration for a better life and China's long-term goal of service import have not changed as well, said the report.
