China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) announced on Thursday that it will indefinitely suspend all activities under the China-Australia Strategic Economic Dialogue jointly held by the NDRC and relevant ministries of the Australian Commonwealth Government.
The NDRC made the decision based on the current attitude of the Australian Commonwealth Government toward China-Australia cooperation, the NDRC’s statement said.
Recently, based on a Cold War mindset and ideological discrimination, certain officials in the Australian Commonwealth Government have launched a series of measures to disrupt normal exchanges and cooperation between the two countries, said the statement.
