China sees higher fiscal revenue, spending in 2018

China's Ministry of Finance released the operating data of the country's fiscal revenue and expenditures for 2018 on Wednesday. The data show that revenues and expenditures are operating well.

Fiscal revenue rose 6.2 percent year on year to 18 trillion yuan ($2.65 trillion) last year, down from the 7.4-percent growth in 2017, according to the MOF.

Fiscal expenditures surged 8.7 percent year on year to 22 trillion yuan ($3.24 trillion), higher than the 7.7-percent increase in 2017, MOF data showed.
