Bangkok (People's Daily) - China will donate medical supplies to the Philippines to aid the latter’s fight against the COVID-19 epidemic, Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian said on Wednesday.

The assistance includes 100,000 test kits, 100,000 surgical masks, 10,000 N95 masks and 10,000 sets of personal protective equipment.
The Chinese Embassy has been closely communicating with Philippine health authorities to ensure a speedy delivery of the supplies, Huang said.
Huang added that China and the Philippines share a relationship of centuries and the Chinese people stand ready to help their Philippine brothers and sisters to get through this difficult time.
