China has sent a letter to Boeing and the US Federal Aviation Administration to follow up  on investigations on the Ethiopian plane crash, said Li Jian, vice deputy of Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

Since Monday, CAAC has grounded similar planes for security concerns after a Boeing 737 Max 8 heading from Ethiopia crashed Sunday shortly after takeoff, killing all 157 people on board, including eight Chinese nationals.
