China's Commerce Ministry on Friday expressed strong opposition to the U.S. adding 36 Chinese companies to its export blacklist and urged Washington to stop the unfair practice immediately.
The ministry said the U.S. has been generalizing the concept of national security and abusing export control measures to crack down on Chinese enterprises and institutions in recent years, despite normal trade exchanges and strong opposition from industries in the two countries.
The ministry also vowed to take necessary means to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises.
