The Ministry of Culture and Tourism issued a safety reminder for Chinese tourists to the US on Tuesday.

Recently, there have been frequent cases of shootings, robberies and thefts in the US. 

The ministry is reminding Chinese tourists to fully assess the risk of travel to the US, understand the policies, laws and regulations and other relavant information about the tourist destination, and effectively improve safety awareness. 

This reminder is valid until December 31, 2019.
