The Ministry of Commerce spokesperson answered media inquiry on the proposed investment restrictions by the United States on Wednesday. 

“We have taken note of the news of the US' introduction of investment restrictions and are paying close attention to the issue. We will assess the potential impact on Chinese companies,” Gao Feng, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce, made the remarks at a press conference.
