“As we solemnly pointed out, the Swedish Television SVT’s program maliciously insulted China and the Chinese people. Thomas Hall avoided mentioning the deliberately racist and discriminatory remarks and deeds in the show, which is completely sophistry and evasive. We will never accept such an ‘apology’”, said a spokesperson for the Chinese Embassy in Sweden on its official website.

“We have noted statements made by Thomas Hall, who is in charge of the SVT entertainment channel, were insulting to China and the Chinese,” said the spokesperson.

“‘No racists in our streets!’ is a slogan known to all in Sweden. We once again urge the related SVT program team to reflect deeply and immediately make a sincere apology,” the spokesperson said.
