BEIJING, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will attend a ministerial meeting of the United Nations Security Council concerning the situation in the Gulf region.

The meeting will be held via video link on Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian announced on Monday.
