Chinese mainland reports 103 new confirmed COVID-19 cases

The Chinese mainland reported 103 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, 88 locally transmitted and 15 imported, the National Health Commission said on Wednesday.

Forty-six locally transmitted cases were detected in Jilin, 19 in Hebei, 16 in Heilongjiang and seven in Beijing.

Four new imported cases were detected in Shanghai, three Guangdong, two each in Zhejiang, Sichuan and Shaanxi, and one each in Tianjin and Fujian, the National Health Commission said in its daily report.

A total of 4,269 imported cases had been discharged from hospitals after recovery while 276 remained hospitalized, including one in severe conditions, the commission said.
