Chinese mainland reports 11 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, all imported

The Chinese mainland on Saturday reported 11 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases, all of which were imported cases, the National Health Commission said Sunday.

Of the imported cases, five were reported in Shanghai, two in Fujian, one each in Inner Mongolia, Guangdong, Sichuan and Shaanxi.

There were 295 active imported cases as of Saturday. No deaths related to the disease were reported, while 10 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals.

The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stood at 91,072, with the death toll unchanged at 4,636.
