Chinese mainland reports 13 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, all imported

The Chinese mainland registered 13 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Monday, all of which were imported cases, the National Health Commission said on Tuesday.

Of the imported cases, six were reported in Sichuan, five in Shanghai, and one each in Tianjin and Jiangsu.

Also on Monday, seven asymptomatic cases were reported on the mainland, all imported. And a total of 260 asymptomatic patients were under medical observation.

There were 182 active cases as of Monday. No deaths related to the disease were reported, while six COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals.

The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stood at 90,062 and the cumulative death toll was 4636 as of Monday.
