The Chinese mainland reported 14 new imported COVID-19 cases Wednesday, all of which were imported, the National Health Commission said on Thursday.

Of the new imported cases, eight reported in Shanghai, three in Guangdong, two in Sichuan, and one in Fujian, the commission said in its daily report.

No deaths had been reported from the imported cases.

The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stands at 85,729 and the cumulative death toll is at 4,634.
