The Chinese mainland registered sixteen new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, all of which were imported, the National Health Commission said on Sunday.

Also on Saturday, 26 asymptomatic cases were reported on the mainland. And a total of 366 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation.

There were 195 active cases, including one in critical condition on Chinese mainland as of Saturday. No deaths related to the disease were reported, while ten COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals.

The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stands at 85,450 and the cumulative death toll is at 4,634.
