Chinese mainland reports 19 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, all imported

The Chinese mainland registered 19 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Sunday, all of which were imported cases, the National Health Commission said on Monday.

Of the imported cases, nine were reported in Sichuan, six in Guangdong, two each in Beijing and Shanghai.

Also on Sunday, 13 asymptomatic cases were reported on the mainland, all imported. And a total of 254 asymptomatic patients were under medical observation.

There were 210 active cases, including one in critical condition as of Sunday. No deaths related to the disease were reported, while 27 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals.

The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stands at 89,912 and the cumulative death toll is 4636.
