The Chinese mainland reported 20 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Saturday, including one domestically transmitted and 19 imported, the National Health Commission said Sunday.

Among the imported cases, five were reported in Shanghai, four in Sichuan, three in Guangxi, two in Yunnan and one each in Beijing, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Zhejiang and Shaanxi, the commission said in its daily report.

The new local case was reported in Inner Mongolia, the commission said.

There were 518 active cases on Chinese mainland as of Saturday, with one in critical condition. No deaths related to the disease were reported, while 23 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals.

The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stood at 96,522, with the death toll unchanged at 4,636.
