The Chinese mainland reported 205 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, including 90 domestically transmitted and 115 imported, the National Health Commission said in its daily report on Wednesday.
Of the new local cases, 47 were reported in Inner Mongolia, 10 in Beijing, nine in Liaoning, seven in Guangdong, six in Sichuan, five in Hubei, two each in Jiangsu and Yunnan, one each in Heilongjiang and Shandong, the commission said.
Among the imported cases, 49 were reported in Shanghai, 38 in Guangdong, 8 in Beijing, four in Sichuan, three each in Tianjin and Yunnan, two each in Fujian, Shandong, Guangxi and Gansu, one each in Jiangsu and Zhejiang.
There were 1,960 active cases on Chinese mainland as of Tuesday, with 14 in critical conditions. No deaths related to the disease were reported. Tuesday also saw 54 COVID-19 patients discharged from hospitals, the commission added.
The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stood at 108,194, with the death toll unchanged at 4,636.
