The Chinese mainland reported 207 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, including 156 domestically transmitted and 51 imported, the National Health Commission said Thursday.

Among the imported cases, 17 were reported in Shanghai, ten in Guangdong, four each in Tianjin, Fujian, Guangxi and Yunnan, three in Zhejiang, one each in Beijing, Shandong, Hubei, Sichuan and Shaanxi, the commission said in its daily report.
Of the local cases, 155 were reported in Shaanxi's Xi'an, and one in Guangxi's Fangchenggang, the commission said.
There were 2,563 active cases on Chinese mainland as of Wednesday, with 15 in critical conditions. No deaths related to the disease were reported, while 59 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals.
The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stood at 101,890, with the death toll unchanged at 4,636.
