The Chinese mainland on Wednesday reported 21 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 6 locally transmitted cases and 15 imported cases, the National Health Commission said Thursday.

All of the locally transmitted cases were reported in Guangdong Province, the commission said in its daily report.
Of the imported cases, seven were reported in Shanghai, three in Guangdong, two in Shaanxi, and one each in Zhejiang, Sichuan and Yunnan.
Also on Wednesday, 27 asymptomatic cases were reported on the mainland, all imported. And a total of 371 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation.
There were 416 active cases, including 12 in critical condition on Chinese mainland as of Wednesday. No deaths related to the disease were reported, while 18 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals.
The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stands at 91,337 and the cumulative death toll is at 4,636.
