The Chinese mainland reported 21 new imported COVID-19 cases Sunday, all of which were imported, the National Health Commission said on Monday.

Of the new imported cases, five were reported in Shanghai, four in Liaoning, three in Guangdong, two in Hebei, two in Shanxi, one in Beijing, one in Tianjin, one in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, one in Fujian and one in Sichuan, the commission said in its daily report.

No deaths had been reported from the imported cases.

The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stands at 85,578 and the cumulative death toll is at 4,634.
