The Chinese mainland reported 21 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Sunday, all imported, the National Health Commission said Monday.
Five imported cases were reported in Guangdong, four in Shanghai, three each in Tianjin and Yunnan, two in Beijing, one each in Shanxi, Zhejiang, Henan and Sichuan, the commission said.
There were 1,695 active cases on Chinese mainland as of Sunday, 23 of whom were in severe conditions. No deaths related to the disease were reported, while 74 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals.
