The Chinese mainland on Thursday recorded 22 new COVID-19 cases, all were imported, according to China's National Health Commission. No new deaths were reported.

11 imported cases were registered in Shanghai Municipality, six in Tianjin Municipality, three in east China's Shandong Province, one in east China's Jiangsu Province and one in southwest China's Sichuan Province, the report said.

A total of 2,368 imported COVID-19 cases were registered on the Chinese mainland and 2,164 have recovered.

The total confirmed cases stand at 84,917, with 4,634 deaths and 353 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation.
