The Chinese mainland reported 231 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Friday, including 175 domestically transmitted and 56 imported, the National Health Commission said Saturday.

Among the imported cases, 11 were reported in Guangdong, 10 in Shanghai, nine each in Tianjin and Guangxi, four each in Fujian and Hunan, two each in Beijing, Sichuan and Yunnan, and one each in Liaoning, Shandong and Shaanxi, the commission said in its daily report.
Of the local cases, 174 were reported in Shaanxi and one in Guizhou, the commission said.
There were 2,886 active cases on Chinese mainland as of Friday, with 15 in critical conditions. No deaths related to the disease were reported, while 59 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals.
The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stood at 102,314, with the death toll unchanged at 4,636.
