The Chinese mainland reported 24 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, including 11 locally transmitted and 13 imported, the National Health Commission said on Thursday.

All of the local cases were detected in Yunnan Province.
Of new imported cases, nine were detected in Shanghai, one each in Inner Mongolia, Jiangsu, Guangdong and Shaanxi, the commission said in its daily report.
No deaths related to the disease were reported, while nine COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals.
The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stood at 90,365 and the cumulative death toll was 4,636 as of Thursday.
