BEIJING, March 8 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese mainland reported three new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Saturday outside Hubei Province, the epicenter of the outbreak, according to the National Health Commission Sunday.

All of the three cases were imported from outside the Chinese mainland. The Chinese mainland had seen 63 imported COVID-19 cases as of the end of Saturday, according to the commission.

The commission said it received reports of 44 new confirmed cases Saturday from 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, including 41 from Hubei.
