The Chinese mainland reported 361 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Friday, including 310 domestically transmitted and 51 imported, data from the National Health Commission showed on Saturday.
The Chinese mainland also reported 343 asymptomatic infections on Friday, including 275 locally transmitted and 68 imported, the National Health Commission said.
There were 1,772 active cases on the Chinese mainland as of Friday, with one in critical condition.
Thursday also saw 212 COVID-19 patients discharged from hospitals, the commission added.
The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stood at 230,496 and the death toll stood at 5,226.
