The Chinese mainland registered 32 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, all of which were imported, the National Health Commission said on Friday.

Also on Thursday, twenty asymptomatic cases were reported on the mainland. And a total of 366 asymptomatic patients were under medical observation.
There were 165 active cases on Chinese mainland as of Thursday. No deaths related to the disease were reported, while eight COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals.
As of Thursday, the total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stood at 85,255 and the cumulative death toll was 4,634.
