Chinese mainland reports 32 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 4 locally transmitted

The Chinese mainland reported 32 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Saturday, including four domestically transmitted and 28 imported, the National Health Commission said Sunday.

Among the local cases, three were reported in Shanghai and one in Jiangsu, the commission said in its daily report.

Of the imported cases, nine were reported in Shanghai, seven in Yunnan, six in Guangdong, two in Hubei, one each in Beijing, Tianjin, Henan and Sichuan, the commission said.

There were 1,748 active cases on Chinese mainland as of Saturday, 30 of whom were in severe conditions. No deaths related to the disease were reported, while 70 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals.
