Chinese mainland reports 33 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, all imported

The Chinese mainland registered 33 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, all of which were imported, the National Health Commission said Saturday.

Of the new imported cases, 11 were reported in Shanghai, nine in Fujian, four in Sichuan, four in Shaanxi, three in Inner Mongolia, and two in Guangdong, the commission said in its daily report.

No deaths had been reported from the imported cases.

The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stands at 86,184 and the cumulative death toll is at 4,634.
